Two ways to submit your genealogy data or transcription project

To add your genealogy data or transcription project, generate a GEDCOM file with your genealogy software. Be sure to set the desired options about information on living persons. The process for doing a GEDCOM export vary from one software package to another.

If you are starting a transcription project, do your data entry into a new folder in your genealogy software, not spreadsheet software. This webmaser or any programmer can convert your spreadsheet file into a GEDCOM file.

OPTION ONE: Upload the GEDCOM file to your website and send the link to this webmaster.

OPTION TWO: Submit your GEDCOM file to GEDCOMlibrary.com, which puts it in the public domain. However, your GEDCOM must not contain information on living persons if you are using Option Two.
